Death Investigation Underway At BP Gas Station in Columbia

A death investigation is underway after an incident last (Sunday) night at the BP gas station on St. Charles Road in Columbia.

According to reports from ABC 17 News the Boone County Sheriff’s Department confirmed they are conducting a death investigation after a report of a person down.

Deputies went to the area east of Columbia and north of I-70 around 9:45 last (Sunday) night.

No word on if the death is being investigated as suspicious at this time.
