Missouri Task Force One Activated To Help With Hurricane Michael

Missouri Task Force 1 is being activated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to deploy to Eglin Air Force in Florida ahead of Hurricane Michael.

The team will deploy as a Swift-water Rescue, Mission Ready Package which will have 16 individuals all trained as swift-water rescue technicians.

The team will leave their headquarters in Columbia this (Tuesday) morning at 7.

Hurricane Michael is forecast to make landfall in the Florida panhandle as a category 3 hurricane tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.
