Columbia City Council Narrowing Down Search Firm For New City Manager

The Columbia City Council is slimming down the number of companies who would like to be selected to search for a new city manager.

Council members have now decided to rank the companies, individually who submitted an application to be in charge of the search process and then send those rankings to human resources by tomorrow (Wednesday).

The current search for a city manager is estimated to cost between twenty and thirty thousand dollars.

The council is expected to vote on a resolution to approve a contract with a hiring firm at their January 21st meeting.
