Two Injured When Motorcycles Collide In Jefferson City

A two motorcycle accident causes moderate injuries in Jefferson City yesterday (Monday).

The Jefferson City Police Department reports it happened around 2:19 yesterday (Monday) afternoon on Highway 179 at West Truman Boulevard.

Police say a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was going through the intersection at West Truman Boulevard, on a green light, and another 2000 Harley Davidson, began to turn right in front of them causing a collision.

69 year old Christopher Anderson of Tebbetts and 48 year old Scott West of Jefferson City were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
