Moniteau County Man Wanted On Multiple Charges Turns Himself In

A man wanted in Moniteau County has now turned himself in.

The Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office say Dalton K. Fisher wanted for several criminal charges turned himself to a Callaway County bondsman yesterday (Thursday).

Moniteau County deputies say they tried to pull Fisher over on Sunny Side Road on Monday, and he sped away, starting a chase on a water covered road.

The flooding stopped Fisher’s vehicle and he apparently got out, and the deputy who was still on dry land asked Fisher to show his hands, however he says that Fisher turned towards him in a shooting stance prompting the deputy to open fire.

Fisher is said to have then ran off.

Officers say they did found meth, a loaded AR-15 rifle and a loaded 12 gauge shotgun in his vehicle.

He is being held on a seventy five thousand dollar bond.
