Audrain County Historians To Make Presentation In Warrenton

Historians from Audrain County will be in Warrenton next week to make a presentation about the original horse whisperer Tom Bass, who practiced in Mexico, Missouri.

Bass was born in 1859 to a slave and a slave owner and became known all over the world for his horsemanship skills.

Audrain County Historical Society member Lori Pratt and Tom Usnick will be at the Scenic Regional Library in Warrenton on Tuesday, February 26th at 6.

During the presentation guests will see possessions once owned by Bass, and books on the topic will be available for purchase.
