Fire and Explosion Destroys Columbia Home on Southwood Drive

A home on Southwood Drive off Old 63 in Columbia is completely destroyed after a fire and a large explosion this (Wednesday) morning.

According to reports from the Columbia Fire Department it is not clear if the explosion caused the blaze, and no one is believed to have been at home at the time of the fire.

The cause is still not known.
