Columbia Regional Airport Awarded Over Two Million Dollars In Grant Money

Almost three million dollars in grant money is being awarded to the Columbia Regional airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration is awarding 2.81 million dollars to help pay for improvements, with most of the money going towards the physical relocation construction of Route H, which is needed to extend the primary runway.

The reconstruction will connect Route H south on Rangeline.

The rest of the money will be used on the runway’s extension design.
