Boone County Prescription Drug Take Back Results

Over 853 pounds of no longer wanted or needed medications collected during the Prescription Drug Take Back in Boone County over the weekend.

It took place on Friday, and Saturday at seven different locations through out the county.

It was the 4th largest total collected locally since the event began in 2010.

The highest collection was 972 pounds in October of 2017.
