Callaway Fugitive Found Hiding In Deep Freeze

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office arrested one person during a fugitive investigation near Fulton yesterday morning. [Tuesday]

According to the department, deputies were were in the 3000 block of Hilltop Drive searching for 55 year old Charles Bentley of Fulton.

Bentley was wanted for four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and assault.

During a search of the residence, Bentley was found hiding in a deep freeze. He was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held without bond.
