Columbia Schools Release Report On Investigation Into Battle Football Game

An investigation summary is being released by the Columbia Public Schools into a Battle High School varsity football game against Jackson on September 27th.

According to the report released yesterday (Tuesday) based on evidence collected Columbia Public Schools were not able to prove allegations made that football players and cheerleaders were harassed and called racial slurs at the game.

Battle players also claim their visiting locker room was trashed after the game.

According to the report the district reviewed about seven hours of video footage from fourteen different video camera angles multiple times.

The investigation has now been turned over to the Columbia Public Schools Human Resources Department.
