Department of Homeland Security Categorizes Essential Businesses

Missouri is officially uner a stay at home order that began today.

The order was signed by Governor Parson and runs through April 24th, however may be extended by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The Department of Homeland Security categorizes the following as essential business.

Health care or public health, law enforcement, first responders, food and agriculture, energy, water and wastewater, transportation and logistics.

Public works and infrastructure support services, communications and information technology, critical manufacturing, hazardous materials workers, community or government based operations and essential functions.

Financial, chemical, defense and industrial workers, residential and shelter facilities, and hygiene products and services.
