MO DHSS Director Issues Warning to Missourians Following Crowded Weekend at Lake Of The Ozarks

The Missouri Health director is issuing a warning to the public after hundreds of people gathered at the Lake Of The Ozarks over the weekend garnering national attention.

Dr. Randall Williams, director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, released his statement yesterday after a video on social media showed large crowds not practicing social distancing at the Lake Of The Ozarks over the holiday weekend.

Dr. Williams reminded Missourians that the coronavirus is still here and violating the social distancing guidelines could have a long-lasting and tragic impact.

As of yesterday morning Missouri has reported 11,988 positive cases and 681 deaths.
