MU Cancels Study Abroad Trips To Italy

The University of Missouri in Columbia is announcing they are canceling all spring and summer study abroad trips to Italy due to rising coronavirus cases in the country.

The CDC has upgraded Italy to a level 3 travel alert, recommending that people avoid all nonessential travel to the country.

According to an MU spokesperson the university they are actively working with students on a case-by-case basis who are currently in Italy to figure out the best course of action going forward.
