The North Callaway Thunderbirds Girls Basketball Team lost 58-34 to the #2 seed Hermann Lady Bearcats in the first round of the South Callaway Tournament.

Abrial Berger led all scorers with 13 points. North Callaway will play in the 2nd round of the tournament tomorrow night (Wednesday).

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team fell to number 17 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranking released yesterday (Monday).

It is the Tigers 5th consecutive week in the AP top 25.

Mizzou went 0-1 last week, losing 78-63 on the road against Mississippi State.

The Tigers were scheduled to host LSU on Saturday, however the game was postponed because of a positive COVID-19 test and contact tracing within Missouri’s program.

The Tigers continues to quarantine as all team activities have been paused until tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Mizzou men are set to return to action against Texas A&M on Saturday.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is this year’s college football’s national champion defeating Ohio State 52 to 24 last night (Monday).

Bama is national champion for the 6th time in the last 12 years under head coach Nick Saban.

For Saban it was career title number 7 overall, breaking a tie with Alabama great Paul “Bear” Bryant for the most by a major college coach.

The Tide finishes the year at 13-0.
