The North Callaway High School is announcing Kevin O’Neal is returning to lead the Thunderbirds Football team next season.

O’Neal was the head football coach for 5 seasons at North Callaway from 2014-2018 with a career record of 36 wins and 20 losses.

He will continue in his current position as Activities Director.

Major League Baseball will start the regular season on April 7th after players and owners reached an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement yesterday (Thursday) ending a 3 month long lockout.

The mandatory Spring Training report date for all clubs is Sunday, with exhibition games starting on March 17th or 18th.

As part of the new deal minimum salaries will be increased.

A universal designated hitter will be introduced and an expanded 12-team postseason format will start.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team lost 76-68 yesterday (Thursday) to LSU in the 2nd round of the SEC Tournament.

Mizzou was down by as much as 25 in the first half, then fought all the way back to bring the game within striking distance, however could finish in the final minutes of the game.

The St. Louis Blues got back in the win column last night (Thursday) ending a 4 game losing streak with a 6-2 victory over the New York Rangers at the Enterprise Center.

Robert Thomas scored twice and David Perron and Ryan O’Reilly each had a goal and an assist.
