Police Identify Man Found Dead In Columbia Restaurant

The Columbia Police Department says they have identified an individual found dead in the kitchen of ABC Chinese Cuisine on February 18 as a foreign national from Vietnam.

During the investigation, CPD was able to determine the individual made entry while the business was closed in what appeared to be an attempted burglary. Investigators were unable to immediately identify the deceased.

Fingerprints were collected and run through a national database.

Detectives are still attempting to notify the next of kin.
