A Mexico man is in the Audrain County Jail facing charges of fourth degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon after an incident on Saturday night.
According to Mexico Public Safety they responded to the 800 block of West Monroe in reference to a disturbance where someone was threatened with the gun.
Authorities say 56 year old Joe Bickell was taken into custody.
