All students at the Paxton Keeley Elementary School in Columbia are safe and back in class after an evacuation earlier this (Friday) morning.
According to a text message from the school the students were evacuated due to a gas odor.
It is being reported Ameren U E and emergency officials went in and cleared the scene.
