A death investigation is underway in Columbia.
According to the department they responded to a call around 4:15 yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon in West Columbia.
Police report the death was found by a family member and reported to the department.
Investigative teams arrived on the scene at around 10 last (Wednesday) after a search warrant was obtained, the investigation is continuing.
