Glasgow City Administrator and Chief of Police is suspended with pay for 30 days.
According to reports the suspension of Kevin Atwood came after allegations were brought forward, and the City Council is investigating the claims.
The Assistant Chief of Police Charlie Polson will be the acting chief for now.
