Hannibal Police are investigating an accident involving a 98 year old man running into the KFC building yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
The department reports the man was driving his pickup on U.S. 61 near Route MM when the vehicle made a rapid turn into the parking lot of Cassono’s Pizza and then ran through a chain link fence and hit the southwest corner of the KFC causing damage to the building.
The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
