Mexico Public Safety Department is investigating a case where a 3 year old girl was hit by a car last (Thursday) night.
According to the department the girl ran into the 200 block of West Love Street and was hit by a 2010 Toyota being driven by 22 year old Austin Bulson of Mexico.
The department says the girls mother reported the child ran from the home while they were moving furniture and she felt Bulson did everything he could to avoid the collision.
The child was eventually taken to the hospital later on in the evening after complaining of pain.
