The Jefferson City Police Department is seeing an increase in reported thefts from unlocked cars over the last several days.
The thefts are said to have happened throughout Jefferson City, specifically in the Eastwood and Brookdale area, as well as Satinwood Drive.
The department is reminding folks to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of view.
Also report any suspicious activity within your neighborhood immediately.
