Columbia residents are being reminded to put their guns out of sight if they leave their weapons in their car after multiple reports of stolen firearms.
According to police 114 guns are being reported as stolen since the January.
Police say it is best to secure the guns in a lockbox if they are being kept in the vehicle, and make sure to always lock their cars and roll up windows.
