A longtime coaching legend in Missouri will be honored as the Gary Filbert Classic takes place this Saturday, December 16th at the Mexico High School.

Jeff Anderson the Activities Director at the Mexico High School says Filbert started off as head coach and athletic director in Mexico.

Games start at 11 on Saturday Morning with the North Callaway Girls facing off against the Paris girls.

Six games will be played featuring 12 teams and ends with the Mexico Bulldogs boys against the Van-Far Indians at 6:30.
