SEARCH WARRANT AT COLUMBIA RESIDENCE LEADS TO DISCOVERY OF DRUGS AND GUNS

Drugs, and weapons are found after a search warrant at a Columbia residence yesterday (Thursday), and one arrest has been made.

According to police the search warrant was served at 1808 Parkade Boulevard, at around 8:15 yesterday (Thursday) morning.

Police say they found about an ounce of methamphetamine, and five pistols and a rifle inside the house.

Officers say they located the resident Ralawndo Damar-Kelly Akers later on at a Red Roof Inn, and arrested him for Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of Weapons.
