A Jefferson City Man is recovering from injuries suffered during a shooting in the 600 block of Michigan Street on Saturday Night.

According to the Jefferson City Police Department it happened around 5, officers located a 34 year old man with a non life threatening gun shot wound who was taken to a hospital in Columbia.

Officers say they identified a suspect,and arrested 20 year old Marco Conley of Jefferson City for 2nd Degree Assault.

Conley was taken to the Cole County Jail pending formal charges.
