Two suspects are being held in the Boone County Detention Center without bond after being charged with Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office 19 year old Jared A. Bears, of Buckner and 20 year old Brian A. Kelley of Boone County are suspected of plotting to kill 2 relatives, of Kelley. During the investigation Boone County Sheriff’s say they learned the two discussed plans for the murders.
Kelley has been in custody since December 31st, Bears was arrested in Independence on Tuesday and transported back to Boone County yesterday (Wednesday).
