Columbia Police are asking for the public for help in identifying a man who is accused of a home invasion on Hermitage Road yesterday (Monday) morning.
According to the department an initial investigation found the suspect forced his way into a home around 7:24 and showed a gun to one of the three people inside and searched the residence before leaving.
No injuries were reported, the amount of property damage is unknown.
The man is described as weighing 240 pounds and was seen wearing multiple layers of dark clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
