An icy spot in the road is the cause of one car accident in Montgomery County last (Monday) night.

According to the highway patrol it happened around 7:20 on westbound I-70 at 181.1 mile marker when a vehicle went over an icy spot causing it to rotate off the road and overturn.

54 year old John E. Mahaney had minor injuries.

31 year old Ricky J. Brown of Old Monroe was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
