BOWLING GREEN SUPERINTENDENT STRESSING MOTORIST SAFETY AROUND SCHOOL BUSSES

Several incidents involving accidents with school buses has the Bowling Green Superintendent asking motorists to be more cautious.

Dr. Matt Frederickson says its very important to be cautious regardless but especially around school buses.

The latest accident happened last week on Highway 161 where a motorist tried to pass a school bus then swerved back into the lane and rear ended the bus.

Dr. Frederickson says when the buses are full they carry anywhere between 30 and 40 students.
