An 2 car accident involving an ambulance from the Mexico Ambulance District is being reported by Mexico Public Safety.

According to the accident report it happened at Northwestern at West Love Street just after 9:30 yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

Police say an ambulance driven by 63 year old Steve Nichols of Mexico was going eastbound on West Love and entered an intersection from a stop sign with the emergency lights on and entered the traveling lane and made impact with a vehicle driven by 70 year old William Lewis of Mexico.

Public Safety reports injuries to Lewis and 40 Keith Reynolds.
