Motorists can expect to see extra law enforcement on the roadways this weekend.

The Columbia Police Department along with the Highway Patrol, and several other law enforcement agencies will partnering to crackdown on impaired driving.

The crackdown started yesterday (Thursday) and will run through Sunday.

The event is being funded through a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation Division of Highway Safety.
