Franklin County law enforcement has apprehended a man that escaped from the jail at around 6:00 this morning. [Wednesday]
The suspect, identified as 37 year old Ricky A. Johnson Jr., was captured after an alert citizen spotted the suspect running in the area of Prairie Dell Road and Denmark Road.
When Johnson was approached by Franklin County Deputies at around 2:00 in the Stable Stone Subdivision he surrendered.
Johnson was a kitchen trustee and escaped when a jail staff member attempted to make entry into the jail.
A warrant was issued for Escape From Confinement with a cash only 100 thousand dollar bond.
