A drug bust in Mexico yesterday [Tuesday] led to the arrest of 2 people.

A search warrant was served in the 1600 block of south Western. A search of the residence uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia.

Investigators arrested 37 year old Patrick Eldridge for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a public nuisance and endangering the welfare of a child. He additionally had outstanding warrants for unlawful possession of a firearm and assault.

31 year old Devin Michael Heinz was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Montgomery City for disorderly contact. He was transported to Montgomery City and turned over to authorities there.
