A twenty year old man has serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Columbia last (Tuesday) night.

According to the Columbia Police Department it happened around 9:30 in the 3400 block Clark Lane.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a driver was going westbound and a the man while he was crossing the street.

The man was transported to a local hospital. An investigation is continuing.
