Missouri Attorney General’s Office Investigating Firm Affiliated with Owners of Fulton Memorial Hospital

An investigation is opened by the Missouri Attorney Genera’s Office into a firm affiliated with the owner of the Fulton Memorial Hospital.The announcement was made yesterday (Wednesday) that Hospital Partners Incorporated is being investigated accused of fraudulent billing procedure.Jorege Perez is part owner of Hospital Partners Incorporated.

The director of the company David L. Byrns is also under investigation by Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway.

Perez and other officials from his company EmpowerHMS purchased the Fulton Memorial Hospital last year (2017) in March.
