An 18 year old Jefferson City resident accused of a shooting incident yesterday is in police custody.
According to the Jefferson City Police Department they were able to follow up on multiple leads through the afternoon and into last (Thursday) night about the shooting incident in the 700 block of Maple Street where officers found a man with a gunshot wound inside of a vehicle.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, however his condition is unknown.
Charges include Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful use of a Weapon.
