New Bloomfield now officially has police coverage again.
The New Bloomfield Board of Alderman passed an ordinance at last (Thursday) nights meeting that will allow the Holts Summit Police Department to patrol and respond to New Bloomfield.
Per the agreement the city of New Bloomfield will reimburse Holts Summit with twenty thousand dollars which will cover from May 31st through December 31st.
Deputies with the Callaway County Sheriff’s will also continue to patrol New Bloomfield.
