A Vandalia man is recovering from serious injuries after an accident in Pike County yesterday (Thursday) morning.
According to highway patrol it happened on Route Y at Pike County Road 410 when 65 year old William R. Martin was going too fast for curve, began overturning going off the road and impacting the ground.
He was taken by air evacuation to the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
