Owner Of Second Chance Homes Denies Allegations

The former owner of Second Chance Homes denied allegations laid out in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Carl DeBrodie.

While Rachel Rowden and Second Chance Homes deny nearly everything in the suit, they admitted Rowden is a resident of Callaway County and the owner of Second Chance Homes, a facility that provides services for individuals with disabilities and the last time Rowden had contact with Debrodie was in July of 2016.

Rowden and the facility claim DeBrodie’s death was caused by negligence on the part of his family and DeBrodie himself.
