Two Arrested In Cole Drug Bust

The MUSTANG Drug Task Force and Cole County Deputies executed two search warrants uncovering a substantial amount of drugs.

The Cole County Sheriff’s Office says around 14 pounds of marijuana, nearly 14 thousand dollars in cash, 4 firearms, a ballistic vest and marijuana derivatives were found in the 2300 block of Schott Road.

Twenty year old Steven Kusgen and 33 year old James Knapp were taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
