Man Arrested in Columbia For Home Invasion Shooting Last Year
An arrest in a Columbia home invasion last year that turned into a shooting is now made.
Columbia Police arrested 35 year old Derrick Lamont Burnett Jr. last (Wednesday) night.
He is accused of being one of two people that forced entry into a home in December last year that sent a man to the hospital in serious condition with multiple gun shot wounds.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab reports a blood sample from the scene came back positive towards Burnett Jr.
A bond will be set at a later date by the courts.
