Jefferson City Continuing To Work On Budget
The Jefferson City council is continuing to work on their budget.
A public hearing was held last (Monday) night by the city’s budget committee.
The committee would like to provide their police department with fourteen new vehicles, however the Mayor’s budget only has funding for two police cars.
A proposed cut to the housing authority fund was voted down last week.
Very few questions were asked at last (Monday) nights meeting by Jefferson City residents. The committee will next meet this week on Thursday.
