Emergency Plane Landing Leads To Fugitive’s Arrest

A wanted man that had been on the run for 8 years was arrested after making an emergency plane landing in Cole County on August 13.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office,the man identified himself to authorities as Scott Star, a resident of Camden County.

Further investigation revealed his real name was Graham S. McGill. He was wanted by the U.S. District Court for Conspiracy to Cultivate and Manufacture Marijuana.

McGill’s pilot’s license had been suspended by the FAA.

Multiple search warrants were served on various homes, properties, and several airplanes McGill had purchased in the area.

He is being held without bond.
