Cole County Judge Partially Blocks New Meat Inspection Law

A Cole County Judge is blocking several parts on a new law in Missouri on meat inspections from going into effect.

Judge Jon Beetem recently temporarily blocked the law from being implemented until September 15th.

The Conservation Commission and Department of Conservation brought a law suit over a new law which would shift authority of captive deer inspections to the Department of Agriculture.
