One Dead in Columbia Car Accident

One person is dead and another injured after a car accident in Columbia on the 2200 block of Old Highway 63 yesterday (Sunday).

According to police it happened around 1:54 yesterday (Sunday) morning when 21 year old Perri A. Jones lost control of her vehicle on a curve going at a high rate of speed, and began rolling down an embankment.

Jones was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger in the car 19 year old Destiny Hardin had minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
