Relay For Life Funds Stolen During Burglary of Mexico Business

An investigation is underway after a burglary at a Mexico, Missouri consignment and coffee shop on the downtown square.

According to the owner Sharon Koontz her store was broken into on Sunday, and funds for Audrain County Relay For Life along with cash from the register, jewelry, tools, and a laptop computer were taken.

Mexico Public Safety says the back door of the business was forced open overnight and an investigation is continuing.
