One Injured In Jefferson City Shooting

One person is recovering from injuries suffered in a shooting in Jefferson City last (Wednesday) night.

According to police it happened on Elizabeth Street after 10 last (Wednesday) night.

An empty vehicle was hit by gunfire and multiple shell casings were found in the area.

The victim was taken to an area hospital by a private vehicle with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police report they do not have any suspect information available at this time.
